Atelopus gigas

Atelopus gigas, the Giant Stubfoot Toad, is a species of frog in the family Bufonidae. It was endemic to La Victoria, Departamento NariƱo near the Andes Mountains of Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. It has not been seen since 1970 and is considered possibly extinct. Some of them kept them on the Critically endangered list but they still may be extinct. It has not officially been seen since 1970 and was declared extinct in 2004.
